Cauldron Ferm は、連続培養技術を活用した独自の発酵プラットフォームにより、研究段階の微生物発酵生産プロセスを迅速かつ低コストで商業スケールへ拡張します。従来のバッチ発酵と比べて生産効率を高め、スケールアップのリスクやコストを大幅に削減。食品、素材、化学品など幅広い分野で、精密発酵（Precision Fermentation）を次のレベルへ引き上げる革新的なバイオテクノロジー企業です。

Cauldron is pioneering next-generation bioprocess innovation to accelerate industrial-scale, commercially viable biomanufacturing. Its proprietary hyper-fermentation platform enables a step-change in production efficiency, delivering higher productivity, lower costs, and reduced resource inputs with a stable continuous process at scale. Headquartered in regional Australia, Cauldron operates a 30,000-liter demonstration facility in Orange, NSW and works with partners in four countries to optimize and scale fermentation processes across sectors. Cauldron co-founders Michele Stansfield and David Kestenbaum will provide an introduction of Cauldron's technology impact and how the company works with commercial partners to support bio-innovation.

Introduction to Cauldron and Hyper-fermentation
Michele Stansfield, Co-founder and CEO

Michele was the driving force behind Cauldron's management acquisition of Agritechnology, a bioscience company based in regional Australia that developed the proprietary hyper-fermentation technology at Cauldron's core. Having served as Agritechnology's General Manager for over a decade, using microbes to produce vaccines, food, feed and fuel, Michele has industry-leading expertise in the scale-up and commercialization of continuous fermentation biomanufacturing. With a background in biomedical science and cellular and molecular biology, Michele started her career with Pfizer focused on a novel pharmaceutical therapy used in the pork industry.

Overview of Cauldron's Commercial Model

David Kestenbaum, Co-founder and CFO 

Prior to Cauldron, David held a variety of senior leadership roles at ABInBev, a top 5 consumer goods company and the world's largest brewer.  As a founding member of ZX Ventures, the innovation and venture arm of ABInBev, he developed ZX's venture studio model and helped build a billion-dollar e-commerce business. David served for several years as General Partner for ZX's venture capital fund, investing in frontier market opportunities like biotech. As board director for BioBrew, ABInBev's precision fermentation scale-up platform, he played a leading role in shaping the company's precision fermentation strategy.
