Call for Pitching Companies: SHIC FAST TRACK 2026

The Japan Bioindustry Association (JBA), in collaboration with iPark Institute Co., Ltd. (iPi), is now accepting applications from companies to present at SHIC FAST TRACK 2026, a pitch event to be held during BioJapan 2026.

This program is a competitive pitch event for startups and academia-originated seeds in the drug discovery and life sciences fields. Selected companies will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses and technologies to pharmaceutical companies and investors from Japan and abroad. In addition, the winning company will receive the opportunity to participate in SHIC in Boston 2026, scheduled to be held in Boston, USA.

SHIC FAST TRACK 2026 Overview

• Date: October 8, 2026 (Thursday) [Day 2 of BioJapan 2026]
• Venue: PACIFICO Yokohama (within the BioJapan 2026 venue)
• Format: In-person event (offline)
• Organizer: iPark Institute Co., Ltd.
• Co-organizer: Japan Bioindustry Association (JBA)

Application Schedule

• Application Period: July 24, 2026 - August 31, 2026
• Notification of Screening Results: September 25, 2026
• Pitch Presentation: October 8, 2026
• SHIC in Boston: December 2026 (tentative)
