Strengthening International Collaboration with Taiwan: Participation in BIO Asia-Taiwan 2025

The JBA team participated in "BIO Asia-Taiwan 2025," held in Taipei from July 23 to 26 to further deepen international collaboration with Taiwan.

As part of our efforts to promote international collaboration, we engaged in dialogue with key players including Taiwanese government agencies and biotech organizations, discussing and confirming future cooperation frameworks and collaboration strategies.

Notably, through collaboration with the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Promotion Office (BPIPO), a Taiwanese government agency, JBA co-hosted the "Japan Session" at the "Regional Collaboration Forum." This provided an opportunity to introduce the latest trends and initiatives in Japan's bioindustry and explore possibilities for open innovation with Taiwan.

During the Japan Session, four companies-Daiichi Sankyo, ROHTO Pharmaceutical, GEXVal, and ReqMed-presented their technologies and businesses to Taiwanese stakeholders. Through presentations aimed at fostering collaboration with Taiwanese companies, the session supported the creation of cross-border innovation.

Additionally, the JBA booth was exhibited at the event venue, promoting "BioJapan" to Taiwanese companies and organizations. Many attendees visited the booth, reflecting the high level of interest in exchange and collaboration between Japan and Taiwan.

The JBA will continue to promote the development of international bioindustry networks and contribute to the creation of global innovation.
